7. What does Plot do? Plot is what drives characters through-out the story. It forces them to make decisions they might not otherwise face and helps them to achieve their goals or gain new understanding. PLOT DRIVES THE CHANGE IN CHARACTERS! Plot also keeps us, the readers, interested. A fast paced plot, or a plot that builds tension within us, keeps us coming back.

8. Simple or Complex? A simple plot is straight forward. You are introduced to the character, the character faces a conflict, the character overcomes(sometimes) the conflict, the story resolves.
