5. Other Bursaries and Grants There are several sites offering search tools to help you find sources of financial support from charities, educational trusts and private companies. 6. Sponsors hip Sponsorship is where you enter into an agreement with a company or organisation that they will provide funding or other support towards your studies throughout the duration of your course. Unlike one-off scholarships, bursaries and grants, the organisation sponsoring the student expects something in return for their investment! Usually this is a commitment to work for the organisation for a set number of weeks each year and to enter into employment with that organisation at the end of your studies. You may already be too late for sponsorship through the military or several other major sponsors for degrees starting this summer.
