9 Enzymatic polymerization : Hydrolase – Lipase Enzyme Lipase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fatty acid ester Lipase can be used to catalyse polymerization reactions, such as Polyester The reaction of lipase-catalyzed polymerization can be done by ROP or Polycondensation
