12 Child abuse prevention Support to abused/ neglected children and parents having problems with their children Territory-wide services Case, group/ programme, hotline, investigation (co-work), etc. At least one day time + flexible hours Placement agency: Against Child Abuse 12

13 Suicide prevention Support suicidal people in handling crisis: assessing risks, providing immediate crisis intervention, making referrals Hotline, befriending, brief counselling cases, educational programmes, etc. Evening duties available Placement agency: The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong - Suicide Crisis Intervention Centre 13

14 Gamblers counseling service Aim: To assist problem/pathological gamblers and their family members to re-establish a healthy life by providing gambling counselling services, and to advocate and respond to the social issues related to gambling Case, group/program, hotline Clientele: mostly middle-aged males/ gamblers’ family members Operation hours: 10am to 10pm (for 3 days) & 10am to 6pm (for 3 days) Caritas Addicted Gamblers Counselling Centre ( 香港明愛 展晴中心 ) 14
