8 First Project: Poster Choose one Chapter to focus on creating an advertisement poster. Students can select one event from that chapter as the focus of their poster. Audience: teenagers 11-18 years old

9 Poster Choose one Chapter Chapter 9: (i) Bruno the explorer, adventurer (ii) Contrast pyjamas clad people and Nazi soldiers Chapter 10: I. first meeting Shmuel and Bruno II. Different cultural backgrounds – Shmuel, a Polish Jew; Bruno, a Nazi German

10 Poster Choose one Chapter Chapter 11: The Fury I. The Fury is coming to dinner II. Bruno meets the Fury and Eva Chapter 15: I. Lieutenant Kotler, the ideal Nazi II. Shmuel, a precious Jewish boy III. Bruno, an innocent Nazi boy

12 Requirements for Poster A4; it will be laminated Clear image(s)/ message Colour (strong) Write citations of where you obtained your visuals from at the back of your poster Only visual images, no written text Communicate summary of the particular chapter

Why do adults do that anyway – why is it acceptable for them to do that, but we need to look adults in the eyes and speak calmly. My eyes followed the direction Maria was pointing. She was pointing at mother. What does Maria packing my things, have to do with mother? I am going to find out….
