2 LAKE TENKILLER OKLAHOMA STATE of OKLAHOMA and U.S. CORP of ENGINEERS: MANAGE TEN MARINAS, FOURTEEN PARKS, SCUBA DIVING, FISHING ACTIVITIES AND AN UNDERWATER SCUBA PARK LAKE TENKILLER HAS A SCUBA DIVE PARK THAT FEATURES UNDERWATER ATTRACTIONS * Underwater town flooded during construction of Dam * Sunken Boats * Limited cave diving Scuba Diving is controlled by local Dive Shops, other than Spear Fishing, no limitations are required to Scuba Dive

3 LAKE TRAVIS, TEXAS WINDY POINT PARK Land is privately owned, cove is part of Lake Travis, which is managed by State of Texas and Corp of Engineers Windy Point was founded in 1980 by Bob Barstow, with permission from Corp of Engineers, his land provides camping, picnic, and access to the lake that contains an underwater scuba park Underwater Scuba Park approximately 90 ft deep, contains: * Several Sunken Sailboats * Diver Skill Platforms * Sunken cars * Manmade tunnel approximately 50 ft Long * Chains are provided at surface for divers to descend * Cove is blocked off from boaters but allows kayaks and jet skies

4 CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK OREGON CRATER LAKE MANAGED BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE CRATER LAKE IS THE DEEPEST LAKE IN THE UNITED STATES SCUBA DIVING IS ALLOWED IN CRATER LAKE FROM JUNE 15 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 15 SCUBA DIVERS HAVE TO HIKE APPROXIMATELY 1.1 MILES INTO THE LAKE, ALL GEAR IS CARRIED BY DIVERS SCUBA DIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A DIVING PERMIT FOR $8.00 AND SHOW DIVING CERTIFICATION MONITORED BY RANGER STATION

5 CANYON LAKE TEXAS MANAGED BY ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS AND STATE OF TEXAS SUBA DIVING PERMITED IN ALL AREAS OF THE LAKE NO UNDERWATER SCUBA PARKS, BUT DIVERS REPORT SEVERAL ATTRACTIONS HAVE BEEN SUNKEN WITHOUT PERMISSION * SUNKEN BOAT * CAR * SMALL AIRPLANE

6 JOCASSEE LAKE AND DEVIL FORKS STATE PARK MANGED BY STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND DUKE POWER ENGERY COMPANY SEVERAL UNDERWATER SCUBA PARKS, ALL LOCATED AT DEPTHS FROM 30 FEET TO OVER 170 FEET NO PERMITS REQUIRED, DIVING CONTROLLED BY LOCAL DIVE SHOPS, ENTRANCE FEE INTO PARK DESINATED NO BOAT AREA LOCATED IN SELECTED COVE, UNDERWATER ATTRACTIONS: * SEVERAL SUNKEN BOATS * SMALL AIR PLANE * LARGE SUNKEN JUNK SHIP * MANY LINES THAT LEAD DIVERS TO ATTRACTIONS * GIRLS CAMP AND GRAVE YARD COVER WHEN LAKE WAS FILLED, DEEP DIVES
