1 Should We Judge? 1 Corinthians 15:1-12 June 22, 2008 (Evening Service)

2 Relativism  What you believe is truth to you.  What I believe is truth to me.  Until…  I tell you my truth is real and your truth is false.

3 Relativists  They deny absolute truth.  But they have an absolute truth that intolerance is totally wrong.

4 Tolerance Today  Means there is no judgment at all.  We do what we want to do.  We feel what we want to feel.  We believe what we want to believe.

5 True Judgment  Recognizes that God is the ultimate judge.  It seeks to restore the offender to a right relationship with God and others.

6 Questions for Tonight  Why do you think the church is proud in the passage we read tonight?  Who does Paul pass judgment on in vs. 3- 5?  Does his language startle you?  What effects are referred to by Paul in his words in vs. 6-7?
