5 Updates from the NH Office of School Turnaround – Joey Nichol Update topics: budget approvals; liaison assignments and roles; submission advice 1. Progress on grant budget approvals Reminder: required components attached to Online Grant Management System (OGM) --Assurances signed by Principal and Superintendent --Summary of Local Achievement Data – initial & mid-year (if completed) -- Indistar plan (Indicator Checklist Report) for at least ID10 and NH101 January 21, 2014

6 HOW TO Retrieve, Upload to OGM Once ID10 and NH101 Completed and Posted in Indistar – 1. In the NAVIGATION TOOLBAR, select REPORTS. 2. Scroll down to INDICATOR CHECKLIST REPORT. 3. When the list of indicators appears, place a  next to ID10 and NH101. 4. Click REPORT 5. EXPORT report to your own computer, either PDF or WORD. 6. Send to your local grants manager. Will visit with your school leadership team every 6-8 weeks. Will check-in with your team lead every 3 weeks. Will work with your team to ensure your plan is connected to your data, meets the requirements laid out in the waiver and is approved so funding can be released. Will be your first point of contact regarding concerns. Will ensure communication flows between your schools and the DOE so that we understand the status of, and the supports needed, for successful implementation January 21, 2014

Answer the questions: What’s working? For which students? What’s not working? For which students? What changes do we need to make to improve outcomes for ALL students? THEN, REVISIT your Indistar plan and add, delete, or revise Objectives or Tasks based on your analysis of mid-year data.

24 Where to post Summary of Local Data Report January 21, 2014 Once you complete your Summary of Local Achievement Data Mid-year Update, SAVE AS (recognizable file name) on your own computer and -- upload to the Indistar Document Upload Data Reports folder so you have a copy for your team; -- ask your Grants Manager to attach to the Online Grants Management (OGM) system; Your CHOICE =  REPLACE your original local data summary with the updated form; OR  ATTACH as a separate document labeled as the Mid-Year Update -- let your Liaison know you have posted the mid-year update in OGM
