SINS !!!

Allah Most High says in His Glorious Book: Thus by this verse, Allah Most High has guaranteed the Garden of Paradise to those who avoid the major sins. If you avoid the major (part) of what you have been forbidden (to do), We will cancel out for you your (other) evil deeds and will admit you (to Paradise) with a noble entry. (al-Nisa 4:31)

And Allah Most High also says: Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults, Verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil. [Qur’an 53:32]

MAJOR SINS The major sins are those acts which have been forbidden by Allah in the Qur'an and by His Messenger (SAW) in the Sunnah (practice of the Prophet), and which have been made clear by the actions of the first righteous generation of Muslims, the Companions of the Prophet (SAW). He may make your conduct whole and sound, and forgive you your sins: He that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has already attained the great victory. [Qur’an 33:71] Allah Most High says in His Glorious Book:

THE DEFINATION OF MAJOR SINS All such sins for which an islamic punishment has been prescribed eg. Severing of one’s hands, lashing, etc The sins for which the warning of jahannam has been stipulated; All sins which carry a “la’nat” (curse) Every “minor” sin openly commited persistently without restraint.

SOME HARMFUL EFFECTS OF SINS  The sinner is deprived of true Islamic knowledge.  A transgressor’s sustenance is reduced.  The heart becomes distantly remote and far from ALLAH and is continually nagged by a feeling of mental torment.  The sinner feels out of place and uneasy in the company of other people, especially the pious.

  The sinner is confronted with difficulties and problems in the management of his day to day affairs.   Such darkness envelops a transgressor’s heart that he is deprived of the ability of differentiating between right and wrong.   Sins create a spiritual weakness of the heart which losses its inclinations towards good deeds and physical too, there is a marked lack of courage.   The life span of a sinner is curtailed and in that too there is no barakah and blessing.   One transgressions leads to another, until ultimately the sinner becomes so much saturated in sin that he becomes addicted to it and finds himself unable to break away from a sinful life for fear of causing hurt and pain to himself.

TThe sinner’s intention to repent also weakens considerably. TThrough continuous indulgence, a sinner fails to regard his offences as harmful TThrough his transgressions, a sinner is in fact imitating some accursed group or person who had originally started the process. Our Nabi has severely warned that the one imitates another nation shall become one of them (in the hereafter) TThe sinner becomes disliked and worthless in the eyes of ALLAH TThe sinner is cursed even by the creations of ALLAH TThe sinner attracts the curse of our beloved Nabi TThe sinner gets no share or benefit from the du’aas made by the angels for righteous people.
