Assessment and planning Education Law no. 245/2008 Education Law no. 245/2008 The school is educating integrated special-needs children, creates for them conditions by means of an individual educational program or according to educational programs for schools with children with special educational needs. Child has the right to an education in his/her mother tongue, to respect his/her religion, national and ethnic background, organization of development and education suited to his/her age, abilities, interests, health condition and in compliance with the principles of mental health

Teaching strategies The teacher implements a variety of teaching strategies that actively engage children to develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions as defined by national curriculums and that promote life-long learning. Teaching strategies National Education Program ISCED 0 National Education Program ISCED 0 The activity of the teacher is grounded in a meaningful creation of conditions for an effective self-development of the child. In order for children to gain competencies, a fundamental change in the content and concept of education, its methods and educational strategies is needed in order to proceed in the direction toward a participative, interactive and experiential learning.

14 Standard 6. Learning environment The teacher provides a learning environment that promotes each child’s well being. European Key Competences European Key Competences All forms of behavior must be mastered in order for an individual to participate actively and effectively in learning, problem-solving, interacting with other individuals and groups. Teachers should be able to support learners in the search for and the gathering of information.

Learning environment Education Law no. 245/2008 Education Law no. 245/2008 An assistant teacher can also practice in a kindergarten Maximum number of children in the classroom (20-22) The right of a child to education in a safe, hygienically sound environment, to be shown respect and assurance of protection against physical, mental and sexual violence.

The teacher together with the children decides about the establishment of the activity centers

17 Standard 7. Professional development The teacher continuously improves his/her competences so as to reach and maintain high quality in the teaching profession according to the contemporary trends and demands of today’s world.

18 Standard 7. Professional development European Key Competences European Key Competences Teachers assist young people in taking the responsibility for their own learning. Teachers should also take the responsibility for their educational path and they are responsible for gaining new knowledge about education. Integral components of life-long learning are: continuous reflection about own activity, paying attention to researching the classroom, results of research and science, and integrate them into own work, consider and evaluate the effectiveness of educational strategies. Education Law no. 245/2008 Education Law no. 245/2008 The conditions are stated in the proposal for the professional career development of teachers.
