6 The PYP Program Is defined by six transdisciplinary themes of global significance, explored in concepts using knowledge and skills derived from the six subject areas, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry-based learning. Is a transdisciplinary program designed to foster the development of the whole child, relating to social, physical, emotional and cultural needs as well as academic well-being. Focuses on the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the outside world.
