ETID is now accessed through the BSM portal link: Users will access ETID through the BSM portal. Note URL for the portal.

3 SELECT “I Accept”

5 All Disposition Service applications you have access to, will display on the left.
Select ETID. SELECT “ETID”

6 Site Home This is the ETID home page. When user’s log into ETID for the first time, click on “Update My Profile” to ensure your profile is complete. You will also select this whenever you need to make any changes to your profile. This is the ETID Site Home Page. To complete your profile transferred from the AMPS process, select “Update My Profile”. You will use this option to make any changes to your profile in the future.

7 Site users can leave as “No”
This is the profile screen. All data with a * is a required field. Site users share the same profile screen as customers so some information is not required for site users. If you are a current ETID user, your DoDAACs may or may not populated when your account information is transferred over. Also DoDAACs entered in AMPS may not transfer too. To set up a DoDAAC profile for a Site User, Add only a Site DoDAAC in the first DoDAAC box and click add. (Note) Customer will add a customer DoDAAC in the DoDAAC box and a Site DoDAAC in the Affiliated Site DoDAAC. When users log in for the first time, you will need to complete your profile. Note the “*” fields are mandatory. Site users share the same profile screen as customers. To add a Site Location as a Site User, type in the Site DoDAAC and select “Add”. You may also edit or delete DoDAACs. Click “Save” when finished. As you tab through fields, this button may pop up. Hold your mouse over the button for explanation

8 Site Home Select “Log In As Site”.

9 When you log in as a Site User, you will see this screen.
Select your ETID Type. Also select your location if you have multiple locations in your profile. Locations will be based on the DoDAACs in your profile.. When the screen refreshes, you will see a new ‘Summary of Pending ETIDs’. This is a new feature that gives you a listing of all your customers with pending ETIDs that need to be processed. Select ETID Type and Site Location, The screen will refresh and show a summary listing of all customers who have pending ETIDs. This summary allows you to view your workload.

10 By clicking on a user’s in this summary, all of their pending ETIDs will display in the listing below.. The feature is designed to help users process their customer’s ETIDs more efficiently. By clicking on a users , all their pending ETIDs will display in the listing below. You can further sort this listings by clicking on any of the column headings.

11 Users can also use the Search Filter feature to find and display ETIDs
Users can also use the Search Filter feature to find and display ETIDs. This is the same functionality in old ETID. Select your filters and click ‘Search’ You can also further sort your listing by the column headings You may also use the Search Filter feature to display ETID listings based on several filter settings. Once filters are selected, click “Search”. You can further sort your listings by clicking on any of the column headings.

12 Updated Status Codes and Filters
There are the new status codes in ETID. The new status codes should improve accountability or accuracy of the status of an ETID. Demil Code has also been added as a Search Filter and is displayed in the listing. There are new and different status codes in ETID. Customers can now cancel approved ETIDs. ETIDs rejected after receipt will also show as cancelled. Demil Code has also been added as a filter and in listings.

14 To View or Review an ETID
These are 3 ways to review ETIDs. (Selecting multiple ETIDs is shown on slide #34) Click on the underlined DTID From the “Search ETID for Review” screen there are 3 possible ways to review ETIDs. You may click on an underlined DTID number to view/review an ETID.

15 When you click on a DTID number, you will be taken to a view screen
When you click on a DTID number, you will be taken to a view screen. In the view screen you can look at the information in the ETID. Action buttons in ETID have been added to the top and the bottom to improve efficiency. To review an ETID, click REVIEW Top of the view screen includes Point of Contact info and Item Description. Action buttons and now at the top and bottom.

16 Supporting Documentation
The capability to add an attachment to an ETID has been added to ETID. Customers can now upload a document to accompany an ETID (ex. Demil F instructions, Photos) The bottom portion of the view screen includes any supporting documentation attached, and selected certifications. ETID now has the capability to attach supporting documentation to an ETID.

17 To view supporting documents, select “View Uploaded Documents”.

18 When you click on an image, the image will open up in another window to view.
Select “Back” to return to the ETID. Click on image to view respective documents. After closing windows, select “Back”.

19 To view selected certifications, click on the furnished hyperlink.

20 Click on “Close Window” to return to the ETID.
After viewing a certification, select “Close Window” to go back to the ETID.

21 To Review an ETID, click on “Review”.
Click on Review to begin the review process. To Review an ETID, click on “Review”.

22 To accept or approve an ETID, select “Accept”.

23 Please provide 4 copies of DD 1348-1A at turn in.
After you “Accept” an ETID, a small confirmation screen will appear. The screen will require you to confirm your decision to accept this ETID. You can now also enter a comment in a text box concerning information you want to pass back to the customer regarding the ETID. To accept this ETID, select “Accept ETID”. You can now also enter a comment when you approve an ETID.

24 Note the message stating your accepted ETID was sent to DSS.
Message ETID will give when you accept an ETID. The ETID information has been sent to the PMR in DSS (and will be entered in the Intransit Control System on behalf of the customer if applicable) Note the message stating your accepted ETID was sent to DSS.

25 Note at bottom of screen, ETID Status has changed to “Approved”.

26 To reject an ETID, select “Reject”.

29 Status code and reject information will appear when you view a rejected ETID.
Note at the bottom of the screen that the ETID Status has changed to “Rejected”, and the reject reason(s) are shown.

30 To redirect an ETID, select “Redirect”.

31 SX1293 The site to receive this ETID should be SX1293 In the redirect box, you will enter the DoDAAC of the Site you want to Redirect the ETID to. There is a look up drop down to look up the Site DoDAAC is necessary. Enter redirect reason text and “SEND TO NEW SITE” Choose your site from the “Look Up”, type in the DODAAC of the site to which the ETID is being redirected (note: DODAACs are case sensitive), enter the reason for the redirect, and select “Send To New Site”.

33 Status code change and redirect information can be seen when you view an ETID.
…at the bottom of the screen the ETID Status has changed to “Pending/Redirected”. The redirect reason is also given.

34 To Review Multiple ETIDs
You can select multiple ETIDs to review in one review session. Select the box to the left of the ETID or select one of the buttons at the bottom of the listing. Then select “REVIEW SELECTED ETIDS” ETIDs can also be reviewed by checking the “Select for Action” box next to the ETID (or ETIDs), and selecting “Review Selected ETIDs”.

35 At the top of the screen will be a count of which ETID selected is being reviewed.
Select one of the action buttons to Accept, Reject, or Redirect to process the ETID. Use the arrows to advance to other ETIDs. A count of all ETIDs selected for review will appear at the top. As actions are taken, the next selected ETID will advance. You may also use the arrows to advance or go back without taking any actions.

36 Approving ETIDs off the ETID –Search For Review
A new feature with ETID . . You can now approve an ETID or ETIDs from the ETID-Search for Review” Screen without having to open and view each ETID. This feature is designed for ETIDs that do not need a more detailed review (ie. Customer has history of preparing accurate documents, or property is not complicated – Demil A) Check the box to the left of the ETID and select “APPROVE SELECTED ETIDS” ETIDs can also be approved without viewing or reviewing by checking the “Select for Action” box next to the ETID (or ETIDs), and selecting “Approve Selected ETIDs”. Use only when a review is not necessary.

37 When approving ETIDs without opening or reviewing, you will get a confirmation screen with a list of all DTID numbers for ETID you are approving, Select ‘ACCEPT ETID’ After selecting to approve several ETIDs, you will get a confirmation message. Select “Accept ETID”. Note list of multiple DTIDs being Accepted at once.

38 To print ETIDs, Click on “Print Selected ETIDs”.
The print capabilities work basically the same in the Site side and the Customer side. To print ETIDs, Click on “Print Selected ETIDs”.

39 You can still print inventory labels, DD 1348-1, certifications, and a shipping manifest.
The capability to print the DLIS 1867 Hard Drive Label has been added as a printing option in ETID. The label will open up in a pdf and can be completed by customers. Note: Data (ie., DTID number) will not pre populate from the ETID to the label. After you select print, you can choose what you want to print. You can still print labels, DD A, Certifications, and a Shipping Manifest. Customers and Sites can now print a DLIS 1867 Hard Drive Label.

40 The printing process will flow the same as it has in ETID.
Choose a manifest if needed. Check/uncheck certifications as needed Select Print PDF Click on Download Document

41 The 1348-1A in ETID now has 3 bar codes
Samples of A. The A will contain a 3rd barcode in block 26 for the information previously printed in ETID (quantity, UI) Rejected ETIDs will contain a watermark when printed to prevent these rejected ETIDs from being turned in. Rejected ETIDs now have a watermark.

42 ETID has a Scrap Module. Select ETID Type: Scrap.
ETID now includes its own module for scrap. The usable module should no longer be used for scrap. The scrap module includes the same basic format. ETID has a Scrap Module. Select ETID Type: Scrap.

43 The information collected for a scrap ETID is different that a usable ETID
Scrap Screen shows Scrap Group, Standardized LSN, Scrap Weight, Reimbursement Information and Noun Description.

44 Sites will process scrap ETID in the same manner as usable.
Customer can also upload attachments with Scrap ETIDs too. A generic QRP certification has been entered in ETID for customers to select. Scrap review screen has same Accept, Reject and Redirect options. A QRP certification is also available in ETID.

45 Hazardous Property is processed in ETID through 3 separate modules; hazardous waste, hazardous material, and special services. In the hazardous waste module, there is a new functionality for sites to view Hazardous waste profile sheets created by their customers outside of being attached to an ETID. Sites can view and authorize for turn in Hazardous Waste Profile Sheets separately from an ETID. In the Hazardous Waste Module, Click on “View Hazardous Waste Profile List”.

46 When viewing hazardous waste profile sheets (HWPS), there are 4 status to filter on. A “New” HWPS is one a customer has not certified and submitted to a Site for review. A “Pending” HWPS is one that has been certified by the customer and submitted for review to a site. It may or may not be attached to an ETID. Accepted and Rejected status have not changed. Hazardous Waste Profile Sheets (HWPS) will have 4 status codes. A HWPS in Pending Status is awaiting Site review. A HWPS can be submitted with or without an accompanying ETID for Site Review. A HWPS in “New” status has not been submitted for Site review yet.

47 If the review of a hazardous waste profile sheet is not done before it is attached to an ETID, the HWPS must first be approved or authorized before an ETID can be accepted. A HWPS must first be “Authorized” before an ETID can be approved. A message will be provided at the top. Supporting Documentation Section will inform you of the type of Support Documentation provided.

48 To approve or authorize a hazardous waste profile sheet, click on the “Authorized for Receipt”.
To authorize a customer to use a Hazardous Waste Profile Sheet (HWPS), click on the “Authorized for Receipt” button.

49 Special Service Requests are submitted directly to DSS in ETID and do not require a site review.

51 The message center in ETID will work in the same manner as it worked in the previous version of ETID. Get Messages can be used as an option for managing ETIDs. It provides the option to manage ETIDs based on actions taken or required rather than by status codes. Get Messages provides a central location to view/process ETID’s based on actions taken by a customer or actions required by Disposition Services Sites. It can be used as an alternative to managing ETIDs based on Status Code. Sites will receive messages notifying them that an ETID has been submitted, resubmitted, edited, deleted, redirected, or canceled.

52 In addition to generating messages for actions that are needed, the message center will also send messages that basically provide information concerning actions on an ETID. The message center will give you a break out of messages by priority. The “ETID – Messages” screen provides a summary of messages by priority. “Action Required” means some action identified in the message will be required of the user. The other priorities , “Warning” and “Info”, inform of some action that has been taken on an ETID or WPS that the user should know about, but no further direct action is required.

53 Users will use the filters to obtain listing of messages
Users will use the filters to obtain listing of messages. You can sort by Document Type or Priority. Filters can be used to sort messages based on Document Type, Message priority.

54 You can also sort by other criteria.
The message listing may also be sorted by DTID, Status (New or Read), customer DODAAC, and/or Date Range.

55 Users can view ETIDs from the message center by checking the box on the left of the DTID and selecting “Select for Viewing” ETIDs related to a message may be viewed and reviewed in the same manner already covered in the ETID review segment for one ETID at a time. To view and process an ETID from the Message center check the box and selecting “Select for Viewing”.

56 Users can also view an ETID by clicking on the DTID number.
You can also review and take action on ETID by simply clicking on the underlined DTID.

57 When an ETID is viewed in the message center, you will see the message at the top of the ETID.
Click on Review to review the ETID. Note the message given in red at the top of the screen. To take action, select “Review”.

58 A review can now be done by selecting one of the action buttons, or you can choose to return “Back To Search Page”. The status of this message will change from “New” to “Read”. For action required messages, the action taken will automatically delete the message.
