3 “Remembering the Samaritan woman at the well (John4:4-26), Christ delivers his invitation at each person’s most apparent and greatest need IMPACT gives an organization the opportunity to provide an invitation. As a community of faith, we need to be like Christ and meet people where they are in life.

4 Homeless and Crisis Shelters Most Homeless and Crisis Shelters maintain a list of items they need for the people they serve Shelters ultimately receive donated items on their lists, however: They do not receive appropriate items for transient people or people in crisis They receive used clothing when they need soap or hygiene related products They do not receive sheets and blankets in sizes appropriate for shelter beds They receive too much of one thing, nothing of another

5 Charitable Businesses, Faith Based Organizations and Missions Most businesses and organizations prepare kits for international or disaster relief as needed. Some prepare limited kits for school aged children or specific projects.

6 An Opportunity Most Shelters or Crisis Centers do not have sufficient staffing to assemble specific “kits” ACTION Call Businesses & Organizations to ACTION Coordinate staff and volunteer resources to pre-assemble kits for overwhelmed shelters Creative Collaboration Providing efficient stewardship of resources The Solution:
