Children - are the future people. So they will only be later, so it is as if they were not here yet. And yet here we are: we live, we feel, we suffer. The years of our childhood - they are the real years of life. Why and what for do they make us wait?

The Resolution of the Polish Parliament of September 16, 2011 on the establishment of the Year 2012 as the Year of Janusz Korczak
The events organized during the Year of Janusz Korczak include:
Promotion of the person of Janusz Korczak
Dissemination of the knowledge about the pedagogical ideas (subjectivity of the child, the child's right to respect)
Promotion of the awareness of children's rights
The involvement of the Polish Ministries, NGOs and other institutions
Due to the Year of Janusz Korczak, Polish embassies all around the world prepared many projects in the field of public and cultural diplomacy
