5 Currently administered in Florida by the Department of Health Child Care Food Program (CCFP) Administering State Agency Child Care Food Program— Child Care Centers Homeless Children Nutrition Program Afterschool Nutrition Program (ANP)

6 – Provides the nutrition children need to learn, play and grow at afterschool programs – Meant for children in low-income areas. PURPOSE

8 Req’ts to qualify Afterschool Nutrition sites Site Eligibility Public or private non-profit Located in 50% or more free & reduced- price school zone Activities provided (educational or enrichment, regularly scheduled) Child care license or license exemption Meet state and local health and safety standards
