Our Successes In Our First Few Months… Held unprecedented launch in July 2008:  Sent 5.2 million emails  Conducted press events in 53 cities  Garnered 96 million media impressions In September, released report: “Insuring Health or Ensuring Profits?” In September, produced and distributed documentary: “Diagnosis Now!”“Diagnosis Now!” In June, granted $10 million by The Atlantic Philanthropies - one of the largest grants for advocacy ever made

Our Successes In Our First Few Months… Over 52,000 individuals joined online and have taken action Two national call-in days in October generated over 5,000 calls to national, state and local policymakers In September, conducted 340 house parties with over 5,000 attending In October, national day of public “Which Side Are You On?” had 34 events around the country“Which Side Are You On?”

8. Now What? The work has just begun. HCAEF will be doing the following over the next year: Public Education on health care, health care reform, health disparities Research on industry, policy, and disparities Leadership Training at state and national levels Coalition-building at state and national levels Small business education and outreach
