6. DECA Fundraising 100+ Competitors going to District Last year we spent $40,000-$50,000 on travel, hotels, registration, etc. – And we didn’t have near as many Competitors! Those that competed last year remember the hassle of raising money before Internationals Two upcoming Fundraising events that we need everyone’s participation

Formula 1 Formula 1 Race is next weekend, November 16 th - 18 th First race on new track; General Admission tickets sold out in August Generous LT family donated one 3-Day pass to LTHS Mrs. Brents gave it to DECA to use as a fundraiser Any money we make from this is pure profit! Selling “Raffle” tickets for $5 a piece – 3-Day Pass (FRI, SAT, SUN; Nov. 16-18) – Turn 5 on track – Face Value $350 - $500 All DECA members responsible for selling 5 tickets – Turn in money and tickets to D100 by 11/14 by NOON – If all 175 members raised $25, we’d make $4,375 Winner Announced 11/14 end of day
