5 Introduction Merits and demerits of the new education system and how different parties in the society feel about it.

6 What is 3+3+4? changing the secondary schooling from seven to six years and the university schooling from 3 years to 4 years. this year’s form 1 students will be the first group to experience the changes and will take their only one public examination in 2009. students are required to study 4 core subjects and 2-3 elective studies students are required to have a minimum hour of 405 on other learning experiences.

37 Conclusion According to Mr Arthur Li, success in implementation requires the attainment of the critical pre- conditions. Undoubtedly, success hinges on the firm commitment and concerted efforts of the education sector and the community as a whole. LET’S WORK ON IT TOGETHER!
