9 Lead (Pb) Surveillance & Rule Making Coordinating ABLES/EPHT reporting 2009: Exposed workers in Colorado ◦ Source: BLS Occupational Employment Statistics ◦ Estimated 65,300 (VT methods) to 99,500 (Haz- Map.com) workers 2009: Surveillance data ◦ 808 persons: 55 =10-24 ug/dL ; 24 ≥ 25 ug/dL Proposal to BOH to require reporting of adult lead tests ≥ 10 ug/dL Outreach to labs/employers regarding testing
