Use going to + infinitive I’m going to visit Poland in the summer. He’s going to work in Australia next year.

Talking about the Future Remember to use the correct form of the verb ‘to be’: I am You/we/they are She/he/it is Note: These forms are often shortened: I’m you’re we’re they’re she’s he’s it’s

Talking about the Future Use the present tenses of verbs: present simple and present continuous Her train leaves at 9.30 tomorrow morning. I’m meeting my cousin at the weekend.

Talking about the Future Use want to + infinitive: I want to travel in the future. She wants to come here next summer. Use would like to + infinitive: I would like to go to university next year. I’d like to visit Poland in the summer. He’d like to come here next week.

Talking about the Future use ‘will’ when you make a decision I’ll/I will phone you tomorrow. use ‘will’ when you are thinking about the future/‘predicting’ the future Maybe I’ll/I will be able to meet you next week.
