11 Other current ongoing activities The CITI Program is having discussions with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) about ways of mutual collaboration between their Virtual Campus, a web based learning program for Latin American health authorities in healthcare reform issues and CITI.

12 Summary The CITI Program has been well accepted and is acknowledged as a valuable educational tool in the region. Our plan is to extend our “footprint” in Latin America, strengthening the networking with research organizations, ethical review boards and academia from Latin America, participating in grants and other opportunities with local organizations. The CITI Program will begin charging user fees for Latin American Institutions
