10 MIST Technology Requirements Your experience will be best if you are able to provide at least 50kb/s per student during testing  Recommended: Students and teachers should be asked to limit bandwidth- intensive tasks such as streaming video from the internet or downloading large files. Network Capacity Worksheet 1) Enter the total bandwidth of your network in kb/s. If you share your bandwidth, use the portion that is allocated to your school as your total bandwidth when making your estimations. Use the slower of the upload or download speed to make your estimate. kb/s 2) Enter the total number of students who will be testing concurrently ( ≤ number of available computers). 3) Divide line 1 by line 2 and enter the result here. Your answer should be 50kb/s or greater. If it is not, reduce the number of simultaneous testers. kb/s 1500 25 60
