CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS Leader: Blessed be the holy Trinity, + one God, whose name is majestic in all the earth, who rescues and heals in every time of trouble, who does all things well. Assembly: Amen.

Leader: Let us come before God, seeking forgiveness and life. Silence is kept for reflection.

Leader: Steadfast and saving God, Assembly: have mercy on us. In so many ways we cause or suffer brokenness: envy, ambition, conflict, boasting, hard hearts, lashing tongues, dishonor for the poor. In your compassion, forgive our sins and heal our hurts.

Assembly: Bring forth from us a harvest of righteousness, the fruits of gentleness and peacemaking, the sheaves of wisdom and justice; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Leader: In the name of + Jesus, the Son of God, receive mercy and find grace in your time of need. Your transgressions are forgiven; God's love is healing balm for your wounds. Continue to pray for one another; care for those who are wandering; and seek the good, that you may live. Assembly: Amen.

GREETING: Leader: God of hosts most gracious, God the Son who saves us, God the Spirit placed upon us, be with you all. Assembly: And also with you.

Assembly: O God, through suffering and rejection you bring forth our salvation, and by the glory of the cross you transform our lives. Grant that for the sake of the gospel we may turn from the lure of evil, take up our cross, and follow your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen!

Change the Reading slides as per the worship flow

First Reading: Joshua 1:7-8 (GNT p. 247) 7 Just be determined, be confident; and make sure that you obey the whole Law that my servant Moses gave you. Do not neglect any part of it and you will succeed wherever you go. 8 Be sure that the book of the Law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Second Reading: 2 Timothy 3:14-17 (GNT p. 1443) 14 But as for you, continue in the truths that you were taught and firmly believe. You know who your teachers were, 15 and you remember that ever since you were a child, you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living, 17 so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed.

After the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices to go and anoint the body of Jesus. 2 Very early on Sunday morning, at sunrise, they went to the tomb. 3-4 On the way they said to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?” (It was a very large stone.) Then they looked up and saw that the stone had already been rolled back.

5 So they entered the tomb, where they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe—and they were alarmed. 6 “Don't be alarmed,” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is not here—he has been raised! Look, here is the place where he was placed.

7 Now go and give this message to his disciples, including Peter: ‘He is going to Galilee ahead of you; there you will see him, just as he told you.’” 8 So they went out and ran from the tomb, distressed and terrified. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.
