4 National Series: First Series (5 countries) + 10 Country specific educational material (Open access: Free), Seminar with local contacts, Educational programmes, Monitoring, and Reporting to the BTWC Project Agendas AzerbaijanGeorgiaTajikistanPakistanUkraine

5 National Series: Key Components 5 Lectures-20 PPT slides each (90 munities for each lecture): 1. Introduction 2. Threats and risks 3. Web of prevention 4. National measures 5. Responsibility of life scientists Group Exercises (In-class discussions) 1. Tailored educational material: with national context

6 National Series: Key Components 2. Facilitation notes: User guideline for lecturers –Learning objectives –Key questions for assessment –In-class discussion/Group exercise (2 for each lecture) –Preparatory reading –Role of activity for tutors and students during the 90 min lecture

7 BTWC Standing Agenda Item (SAI): 2012, 2013 and 2015 States action at the national level for any significant change to be made (d) voluntary codes of conduct and other measures to encourage responsible conduct by scientists, academia and industry; (e) education and awareness-raising about risks and benefits of life sciences and biotechnology.
