5 WHAT IS THE CONSORTIUM EMPOWERED TO DO?  Execute a planning program defined in a Memorandum of Agreement  Use federal and local funding to execute the program  Produce plans and other recommendations consistent with the planning program  Implementation responsibility falls to individual Consortium members

10 GROWING THE ECONOMY, EXPANDING CHOICE: DEVELOP CLIMATE RESILIENT BUILDINGS AND INFRASTRUCTURE Department of City Planning Analysis of urban design implications of enhanced flood protection for buildings Study of best practices for building coastal resilience in highly developed waterfront cities and surrounding areas Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability Evaluation of critical infrastructure design standards Community outreach
