2. Music is definitely a very interesting part of America. Across the continent there are many famous bands and distinctive musicans. We’ve chosen a few of them to try to promote America. You don’t have to like them, but surely they are worth knowing. Let’s start our presentation. - the examples of music

3. Rise Against is an American music band formed in 1999. Now, the band cosists of four members: Tim McIlrath Joe Principe Brandon Barnes and Zach Blair. Rise Against play punk rock music. They’ve recorded six studio albums and their seventh album is going to be realised in 2014. The band has won “Rock on Request Award” in 2008.

4. Michael Jackson was an American singer dancer and producer. He was said to be ‘The King of Pop’. He was one of the most impressive pop artists in history. During his concerts he became famous because of his distinctive dance and moves. His sixth album – ‘Thriller’ is the best selling album in music history. Michael died in the age of 50, in 2009.

5. Paramore – an American rock music band formed in 2004. Currently the band consists of three members – Hayley Williams on vocals, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York. Paramore used to play with Josh and Zac Farro until 2010. Paramore's 2013 self-titled fourth album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in the United States. It was also no.1 alum in the UK.

6. Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor. One of the most important artists in the history of music. Elvis died in 1977. He is said to be “the King of Rock and Roll”. He recorded a lot of albums and played in a bunch of films. Presley was one of the most significant icons of XX century.

7. Three Days Grace – a Canadian rock and metal music band. Formed in 1992. They’ve recorded 4studio albums. In 2013 band’s vocalist – Adam Gontier announced his departure from the band. Three Days Grace has a lot of fans across the world and won a few precious awards.

8. Kings of Leon is and American music band, formed in 1999. The band cosists of three brothers and their cousin. Musicans from Nashville play mainly alternative rock music. What is inteteresting the band won a fame more in Europe. Their music is more listened and respected in Europe. Kings of Leon played two gigs in Poland.

9. Miley Cyrus – an American musican and actress. She is mostly known from soap opera ‘Hannah Montana’emitted on Disney Channel since 2006. In 2007 she had signed a contract with Hollywood Records and started her solo career. Cyrus slightly became a very popular music star. She is known for her unusual and sometimes weird image. She sings mainly pop music.
