3  Detroiter James Robertson, who walks daily marathons to get to a daily suburban factory job. James Robertson walks 21 miles, not including two bus rides, to get to his job every day except for weekends.

4  James normally leaves the house at 8 A.M to make it to his 2-10 shift at the factory. He started walking when his car broke down. He has been walking every day after that. He became famous when he made it onto national news.

6  When Wayne State University student, Evan Leedy, heard about it, he made a fundraiser website (GoFundMe.com) and raised over $350,000 as of Sunday night.

8  “I cant thank you enough” Robertson said as he was given the keys of his new ford Taurus. Robertson was flattered by all the donations and attention.

9  Robertson told the Detroit Free Press: "I gotta’ say, this is Detroit, this is how people are in Detroit. They say Los Angeles is the city of angels. That's wrong. Detroit is the real city of angels.”told the Detroit Free Press
