2. Salvation is Forever - Questions
Once a person prays to receive Christ as Lord and Savior, what happens to them to make them saved?
Is there anything a person can do to lose their salvation?
What did God do to make sure that we are always saved?
Can a person commit sins and stay saved?

3. Question of Unpardonable Sin
A question arises as to what is the unpardonable sin?
What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

4. Question of Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit/Unpardonable Sin
The verses in question occurred when Jesus was talking to the Pharisees who had hardened hearts and rejected Jesus.
The unpardonable sin/blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is rejection of Jesus Christ (John 3:16, 36)
Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. “If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the propitiation (satisfaction) for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2:1-2)

5. What Happens at Salvation
Salvation is when a person prays to ask Christ into the hearts as Lord and Savior of their life (Romans 10:10).
The church (“Ecclesia”) is made up of people who prayed to receive Christ.
The list of things that occurs at salvation is amazing with about 70 things received at salvation.
God is capable of salvation – for “the Lord’s hand is not short that it cannot save.” (Isaiah 59:1)
Because of the life, work, death and resurrection of Christ to pay for our sins, God saves us if we only ask Him to save us. (John 3:16)

6. Some Key Things Given at Salvation
A place (“room”) in heaven (John 14:2-3)
Eternal life (John 3:16)
The promise of not dying spiritually and no separation from God in Hell (John 3:16)
Grace (unmerited favor) is the means of salvation (Eph 2:8-9)
Made a member of the church, the body of Christ (Romans 12:5)
Placed “In Union with Christ” – “For as in Adam all die, even in Christ shall all be made alive.” (1 Cor. 15:22)

7. In Fellowship with God – “Light”

Rev 20: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev. 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev. 20:13 And the sea (often a reference to mankind) gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man (person) according to their works.
