2 Conditional Functions  A Logical statement has one of two results, True or False

3 Logical Statements To create a logical statement, you must use a Comparison operator. The following are comparison operators: = Equal >=Greater or Equal <> Not Equal < Less Than > Greater Than <= Less or Equal

4 If Functions An IF Function uses a logical test to determine between two possible answers. The Path to the IF function is Formulas-Function Library-Logical-IF Parts of the IF function Logical Test Value if True Value if False

5 IF Functions When the IF function appears in a cell or the Formula bar, the structure is as follows: =IF ( logical test, value if true, value if false ) Numbers in IF functions cannot contain symbols or commas Text that is a result in IF functions must be surrounded by Quote Marks

6 Conditional Formatting  Conditional formatting allows you to show different formatting based on a Logical Test

7 Conditions Conditions are either True or False When you use a highlight rule, type the Condition to be compared Then choose the Format You can use a preset format or define a custom format. Conditional Formatting also includes data bars, color scales and icon sets.

8 Transpose  The Transpose feature switches data in rows and columns

9 Transpose The path to Transpose is Home-Clipboard group-Paste Arrow- Paste Special Before you can Transpose you must either Copy or Cut the data.

10 Comments  Comments can be made to individual cells in a worksheet.

11 Comments The path to insert a comment is Review-Comments Group-New Comment Comments do not print when the Worksheet is printed. To show all comments on the screen at once, go to the Review Tab and choose Show All Comments.

12 Backstage View  The File Tab is considered Backstage View

13 Backstage View Several commands found in Backstage view are: Save, Save As, Open, New, Print, Options The Exit command in Backstage View closes the program The Options button takes you to the Excel Options Dialog Box

14 Excel Options Excel Options contains many tools for changing how Excel operates AutoCorrect is found in the Proofing page Default file locations are found in the Save page The General page has options like Color Scheme, Default Font, and Username Changes in Options are erased at school when your computer is Shut Down or Restarted
