16 September 2006SETA Report to Select Committee on Labour and Public Enterprises 16 Progress Report Provinces Key Achievements Labour ProvinceProviderAchievements Gauteng Filadelfia School for the Disabled This school in Soshanguve implemented a Craft Production Skills Programme with 20 learners in beadwork. Facilitation skills have now been introduced to the top performers KwaZulu-Natal Umcebo Trust Greater St Lucia Umcebo Trust has trained 20 learners with severe learning disabilities. Their products have been exported to countries such as France and Italy. Products of one of the learners will be displayed at the Design Indaba 2007. Mr Price Home awarded a contract to craft learners, who were successfully trained by the MAPPP-SETA, to produce various products. North West Phumani Paper Phumani Paper has placed 9 learners with Bosele - a paper manufacturing company. Bosele was awarded the Community Builder award in the North West province and is currently a finalist for the National Community Builder award.
