4 Standard 1: Vision and Purpose Vision- “To empower every student to reach his or her unique potential.” Mission- “To produce life-long learners and productive citizens in a safe and nurturing environment.”

5 Standard 1: Vision and Purpose All schools function under shared vision and mission through the strategic plan District Federal Programs Plan provides foundation for system information shared with stakeholders Monitoring and revision of Strategic Plan, Local Education Agency Improvement Plan, and local school Continuous Improvement Plans ensure alignment with vision, purpose, and goals

22 Standard 5: Resource & Support Systems Sufficient personnel are provided as funding allows to meet vision, mission, and goals of the system Teachers, principals, and central office administrators are evaluated with EDUCATE Alabama or PEPE system Revenue from local, state and federal resources cover expenditures supporting system vision, programs and services to ensure continued improvement System develops budgets for state and federal revenues and monitors funds for resources that support beliefs, missions and educational programs to support learning
