Mistletoe 槲寄生 Mistletoe is another symbol of Christmas. People love to hang it on the door. If two people stand under mistletoe, they have to kiss. And if someone is standing under mistletoe, he or she cannot refuse the others’ kissing. That’s tradition. The tradition of kissing began with a goddess called Frigga. Frigg’s son Balder was shot with an arrow( 箭 ) made of mistletoe. Frigga’s friends succeeded( 成功 ) in saving Balder’s life. For giving thanks to them, she made it a symbol of love by kissing everyone who passed under it.

Many families will decorate a Christmas tree in their houses on Christmas. What does it mean? Well, the Christmas tree is an evergreen tree and it keeps green even in cold winter. Thus the Christmas tree is a symbol( 象徵 ) of life and hope.

Something about Santa Clause A long time ago, Christian leader named Nicholas lived in a country that is now called Turkey. The pointed hat and red suit with white fur were his uniform( 制服 ). He was very rich and kind. He often helped the poor family. One night Nicholas went to a poor man’s house but all the doors and windows were locked( 鎖 ). So he climbed up on the roof and threw a bag of gold down chimney( 煙 囪 ). The bag of gold fell into a stocking( 長襪 ) that was hanging in front of the fireplace. This was how the story began.

Have a wonderful Christmas And A wonderful New Year.

May you have The spirit of Christmas which is PEACE The gladness of Christmas which is HOPE The heart of Christmas which is LOVE

Sung by Jacky Cheung I wish Christmas could be good again that you could forget everything just for one day. I’d take you right back to when you were a little girl to when each day promised you pearls before you grew up. And I wish that we owned the house we live in and I wish that we had no bills to pay and I wish I could find something this Christmas something so valuable that it didn’t cost. Happy Christmas to you may all your dreams come true and may somebody save you tonight and may you still believe that I might and may some thing just turn out all right.
