10 Shale Valley Financial Group How Do We Do It? We spend a tremendous amount of time getting to know who you are, what you believe, the values you want to instill, and the legacy that you want to leave. Our Five Step Process is well thought out and designed to bring an awareness to your financial health and life's attitude. Step 1: Interview and Gather Data This is what separates us from other financial advisors. We will thoroughly interview you and your family to understand how did you learn about money? What does money mean to you and your family? What brings happiness and joy into your life? How are you balancing the stress of maintaining and growing assets against the need to live your life? We will identify potential risks that can sidetrack or derail your plans. This stage is when you will realize that we truly care about you and your family. We become aware of many personal details and feelings that perhaps, you have not shared with your closest friends or even your spouse. This data gathering is the most critical aspect of our relationship, it sets the foundation for your future success. Step 2: Analyze Data and Create Plan During this phase we will work diligently on your behalf to find solutions that protect and preserve your assets, while allowing for future growth. Our team of professionals, with colleagues around the world, will tear apart your current investment and estate planning strategies. We will create cost and tax efficient portfolios that are designed to provide income when you want it. We incorporate your pensions and social security incomes to maximize when and how to utilize their cash flows. Our ability to speak knowledgably and professionally with your other advisors such as your CPA and attorney to team on your behalf is often stated but rarely integrated to the level we provide. Step 3: Deliver Your Plan This is where we educate you. It is critical that you clearly understand how your lifestyle choices, values, and philosophy about money are linked. We congratulate your areas of strength, highlight your areas of weakness, and propose comprehensive solutions. We will fairly and accurately display your basic areas of risk and make sure that you understand possible solutions, upsides and downsides, and costs associated with implementation. It is incredibly important that you grasp the integral relationship between your daily living needs, family philosophy, and ultimately estate planning techniques. You will receive a comprehensive plan that you can articulate and share with your family. Step 4: Implementation Implementation begins to demonstrate our focus on client service. You will partner with us to begin to realign your areas of weakness and transition them to areas of strength. We follow a detailed action plan with agreed upon timetables to begin to cover your risks. You and your family will tell us what issues you want to tackle first. We will partner with your other advisors to ensure that assets are titled properly, tax strategies are appropriate and being followed, and that you are fully able to take advantage of our online and personal service. You will be given access to not only our work and cell numbers but potentially our home numbers. You have joined our family. Step 5: Service Model Execution We strive to provide you and your family with exceptional service. Because this is so crucial to our relationship we have developed a client service matrix that our team constantly reviews and follows. You will be informed of your tiering and given and scheduled for a consistent communication plan. It is your job to keep us informed of the inevitable life changes that will arise. It is our responsibility to provide you and your family with performance figures, economic reviews and forecasts, estate and tax law revisions, and goal and objective tracking. It is impossible to be a trusted advisor and uphold our integrity without consistent and reliable communication.
