US Pallet Market Overview 840 Million pallets Manufactured a year. 4.6 Billion Pallets are in circulation in the United States, at any given time. 90%+ wood based New Rebuilt Leased ■ Wood - 90% ■ Recycle wood - 4% ■ Steel - 1% ■ Plastic - 3% ■ Corrugated - 2%

Product Overview UNIPAL represents a patented product line of corrugated pallets manufactured from pallet members. These corrugated lumber members are assembled using a method similar to that used to assemble “Lincoln Logs”. This pallet member construction provides “beam strength” comparable to that found in the construction of wooden pallets.

UNIPAL is a proven, fully automated modular system to manufacture corrugated pallets. The unique construction consisting of stringers and cross-stringers provides an outstanding beam strength in all directions. On-site assembly is an option UNIPAL comes with or without a top sheet, depending on your requirements.

Because of its unique design UNIPAL outperforms all other corrugated pallets on the market today. In fact, UNIPAL’s flexible construction enables a large variety of sizes and 2- or 4-way entry solutions. The UNIPAL pallet unites strong performance and light weight into one innovative product. It guarantees easy and safe handling without any mechanical assistance. UNIPAL meets all packaging requirements (phytosanitary measures ISPM 15) for today’s international shipping as well as cleanness regulations. Why UNIPAL?

Benefits 100% Recyclable 100% Environmentally Green Patented Manufacturing Systems 65% to 75% Less Weight than Wood Cost Less than Comparable Wood Pallets Cost Less than Comparable Plastic Pallets Safe & Easy Handling No Bugs No Landfill Fees No Nails No Splinters

The UNIPAL pallet can be manufactured according to customer's requirements in almost any size from 600mm x 500mm (24 x 20 inches) up to 1900mm x 1530 mm (75 x 60 inches). In addition, the UNIPAL pallet is capable of transporting loads in excess of 1 ton (2,200 pounds) and warehouse stack loads up to 4 tons (8,000 pounds). The UNIPAL I pallet is typically constructed with 8 pallet members and a top sheet, which provides both fork and pallet jack entry and exit. This pallet is truly a “pallet and skid” as it does not have bottom deck boards. Because of its member strength, the UNIPAL I can be racked (three rails or solid deck racks) and transported over most conveyer systems in all four directions. Its construction makes the top sheet optional where the load is contained in one or few containers or a bulk bag

Manufacturing of the stringer consists of folding and gluing every opposing surface to become one single piece of corrugated lumber.

UNIPAL solutions UNIPAL Crating & Dunnage – if you need more than a pallet A UNIPAL crating & dunnage can be described as a three dimensional pallet that provides complete protection for its contents. Depending on your requirements the UNIPAL technology can be used for a variety of solutions. Tell us your needs, we design. UNIPAL crating & dunnage is a heavy packaging structure with an integrated pallet UNIPAL crating & dunnage for the transport of paper reels

UNIPAL solutions UNIPAL crating & dunnage for the transport of smaller goods UNIPAL top cover for strapping

Performance Tested and Proven UNIPAL Pallets Performance Testing Independent tests have been performed by the William H. Sardo Jr. Pallet & Container Research Laboratory at the Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, VA and the RVR Package Testing Center located in Houston, TX. Results of these tests have proven the UNIPAL pallets to be superior in performance in many areas to all other corrugated pallets tested at these same facilities. Today, UNIPAL pallets are used worldwide to transport goods exceeding 1 ton (2,200 pounds) in weight

SAFE UNIPAL guarantees easy and safe handling without any mechanical assistance. There will be no more injuries caused by loose nails, jagged edges or splinters.

Recyclable Over and above, by using UNIPAL you will be choosing an environmentally friendly way of doing business.

Compliant UNIPAL meets all packaging requirements (phytosanitary measures) for today’s international shipping regulations. Our pallets eliminate the necessity for costly heat treatments and complex logistics

Transportation Savings Ground Transportation (Dry) 85% lighter than a typical GMA wood pallet 87 % lighter than a leased wood pallet Example of savings: A 53 ft. high cube trailer can hold approximately 48,000 lbs of product and 30 wood pallets that weight 2,100 lbs. The difference in weight between a 12 lbs corrugated pallet and a 70 lbs wood pallet in a truck load is 1,740#. In LTL the difference is 58 lbs per pallet. Equivalent to one free truckload for every 27 truckloads shipped. An average LTL cost today (including fuel surcharge) of $.50/lbs creates savings of $29.00 per pallet shipped.

Transportation (cont.) Ground Transportation (refrigerated) Example of savings: A 53 foot refrigerated truck can hold approximately 43,000 lbs of product and carries roughly 28 wood pallets weighing an average of 70 lbs each. That adds up to 1,960 lbs of unprofitable weight per truck. Corrugated pallets weigh only a fraction of that weight at 12 lbs each. That adds up to 336 lbs. The difference between wood and corrugated pallets per truck is 1,624 lbs. That is a savings of one free truckload for the shipper per every 26 truckloads shipped.

Benefits Light Weight Employee safe Fuel/freight efficient Environment Made from 100% recycled material 100% recyclable Recyclable and disposable at Profit Flexible Solutions Easy to incorporate recyclable packaging materials Unlock significant packaging improvements

Additional Benefits Product Friendly: Absorbs shock and vibration No weight in double stack loads

OSHA greenLight Pallets eliminate all : Wood Bolts Nails Reduced weight from 70 lbs to 12 lbs Eliminates the high cost of wooden pallet injuries to employees

OSHA (cont.) Significantly reduces damage to: store fixtures shipping instruments Floors Truck damage Product Easy to maneuver and handle and Safer for everyone to use

Water Resistant greenLight offers a 100% recyclable water resistant application applied on customers request All natural. FDA approved for direct food contact. *NOT A WAX COATING*

The possibility of assembling UNIPAL pallets at the point of use provides important transport and storage advantages. UNIPAL can be easily assembled at the point of use even without using glue.
