3 * Ensure that Washington's women veterans have equitable access to federal and state veterans' services and benefits. * Perform outreach to improve awareness of eligibility for federal and state veterans' services and benefits; * A couple of suggestions that will reach the tribal leaders; under mission/vision: * Participate and network with more Native American women veterans. * Participate and network in cultural Native American events and connect them to resources for healing.

5 * Comprehensive Study: www.dva.org * As of March 2014, 210,675 women served in the Post 9/11 era. * In FY 2013, VA’s female patient population increased from 6.5% in the previous year to 6.8% * Currently in WA State: 607,000 veterans, 60,000 active duty, 20,000 Reserve/National Guard, and 2 million family members
