7 B USINESS P ROFILE  Legal form: limited company Required sum for establishment: 3,000,000 HUF (~10,800 EUR) (minimum capital, half of this can be intellectual property) The liability of members of the company is limited to what they have invested or guaranteed to the company - the age of 18 is required to be a member Members are not responsible for paying creditors Only the CEO is liable with all his goods

8 M ARKET ANALYSIS  The economic crisis had a massive impact, now the market is still recovering  Several hundreds of event management companies are present in Hungary  Specialization is rare  Success is not high income for ONE particular event - long-term partnerships and reputation are worth much more  Corporate events, mainly with marketing purposes are the most common  Team building programs, family events are also frequent  “Experience factor” is always the most significant for participants

9 C OMPETITOR ANALYSIS  Only a few event management companies are interested in asking exhibitors and visitors about their satisfaction with the event or what their requirements are  Competitors fundamentally use the traditional forms of advertising  The use internet (facebook) is more and more widespread  Personal relations is a decisive factor

10 M ARKETING  The most complex form of marketing communication is appearing on exhibitons and markets  It is a unique and specific event on which the company is able to present and popularize her products  It has an even greater efficiency than advertisements or appearance in the press  After direct selling, exhibitons bring the most orders from old and new consumers

11 R ECRUITMENT OF WORKERS  Recruiting employees  Positions in the company – management: 3 people over 18 (for legal reasons)  finding opportunities for students to work outside the school  Volunteers / employees from the 11th and 12th grades from our school (over 16)

12 HQ M EMBERS  6 permanent management duties :  CEO: Coordinates the HQ members  financial manager : works together with the bookkeeper/keeps tracks of invoices  PR managmement: advertising/profile of the company  Customer relations: finding job opportunities  HRS: recruiting  Local (event) coordinator: coordinates the event

13 P ART - TIME WORKERS  Students over 16 (for legal reasons) 5-10  Only hired for each specific event  They are coordinated by the local coordinator  They organise the venue, host the event….

14 E MPLOYEE WAGES  Part time workers: around 7€/hour (above average for student job)  (No social taxes after student employees)  Permanent workers: around 30€/hour

15 E XPECTED COSTS Three forms:  Founding costs (e.g. lawyer)  Fix costs (monthly; e.g. book keeper, phone bill)  Varying costs (for each event e.g. renting of the venue, renting chairs)
