1 ① What is a prayer? (3) 1.A prayer is a connection between us and God, in which we feel His presence with us and us with Him. 1.It is a dialogue with whom we love, not just mere words that we utter without understanding. 1.In a prayer we raise our hearts and minds to God and speak with Him, trusting that He is listening to every word we say.

2 ② There are different kinds of prayers, such as: (2) 1.The individual on the spot prayer. 1.Prayers set to be memorized.

Example: Repeating the prayer of Kyrie Eleison for 41 times every “hourly prayer”!

12  The prayer of Psalm 50, when we say: “Have mercy upon me O God in the multitude of Your mercies.” 12Give an example for a prayer that shows the element of confession of our sins and repenting.
