2 On the customer screen F1, you now have the ability to add multiple phone numbers for each customer (cell phones, etc.) so that regardless of the number entered to look up the customer, the customer will be displayed and multiple entries for the customer will be eliminated.

3 We also have added the ability to see the sales for the customer for the last 365 days or calendar year, # of times they visited, and ave $ per visit.

4 In addition, we have added 3 new info fields in the bottom right hand corner to store data of your choice. We can label the data whatever you wish.

5 On the product/invoice screen, when you now do a look up, it allows you to do another lookup without exiting as well as highlight a product and use F11 to see the product information.

6 The program now allows you to add a comment line (such as one of the above or one you create) to the individual product on an individual invoice, print it and store it as well. You can either choose a pre existing comment or type one of your own on the fly..

7 When looking up a customer history, you can now highlight an item on a specific invoice and press F10 to print out a duplicate invoice to see all items on that invoice. Customer history is displayed from most recent going back in history

8 Now the popup windows have been re-colored to make it easier to read.

9 In our SimTools portion of the program, you can look at by category, department, individual product, by $ or count your sales history for the past 4 years as you see above. Makes management of ordering and planning a lot easier.

10 In our SimTools portion of the program, you can also: 1. do a cash drawer reconciliation if the cashiers forgot to do so 2. merge databases from different locations or after a server crash, etc. so you don’t lose any data. 3. set the parameters for cashiers adding new products and product information 4. archive your old records so you can always look back from the start of your database. 5. copy plant information from products that have it to those newly entered that don’t. SimPOS! now allows re-use of gift cards as well as in house processing so no more off site expensive processing of gift cards and remaining balances. Other items that have changed: 1. 13 If you use a loyalty program for customers, then SimPOS! software allows you to track purchases and analyze those to determine such things as 1. those customers who are yielding you the most margins, 2.send out postcards in July for all of those who purchased 5 or more items in the rose department in April and May inviting them to a secret rose sale, 3. determine months shopped so you can target market to extend their visiting the nursery, 4. determine by the use of postal carrier route sorts the areas where you have the most/least penetration and address marketing issues for those areas. Wholesaling of inventory to customers. 3. Selling to a mix of customers who get various discounts, non-tax, etc. all from the same inventory. 4. Ability to interface with Quickbooks and Peachtree software bookkeeping systems. 5. Combination florist, retail sales, wholesale sales from the same inventory.
