4 Law enforcement, Respect Foreigners Not effective and unprofessional in carrying out their Duties Effective Training, Teach values, Do their Duties Law Enforcement & Agencies Duplicate duties of Government Departments Foreign Licenses & IDs are a problem for RSA One charge, Do away with Permits, Third Party Ins.

5 Simple processes, affordable, Accessable to work Show development with funding already received Use one area for all searches Law Enforcement & Agencies Create unneccessary delays by not synchronising searches Cash opportunities for Governments Staff Transferring & Work Permits, Mechanics

6 Acquittals, Responses to Queries from Customs Customs Related processes and Documentation Connectivity, IT Departments Release processes & Exiting Customs, Condep Advise: RELEASE or SEARCH BAY! No grey areas Back up servers, IT Dept @ Borders 24hrs Extend Time frame OR Acquit @ Border, communication

7 Poor roads, Parking facilities, Ablution Infrastructural Issues Structures not Used effectively: Beit Bridge Congestion, Empty Vehicles release process Must be uniform, Roads and condition, Toll Fees Use old Facilities, Bridges, Lease to Private sector Release by Tare weight, Scan

8 Weigh Bridges, Axle masses, Not Calibrated, Poor Operation Load Limits & Overloading Control Unfair practice & costs for Local operators to compete, lose income, Vehicles optimum not used Transporters are against the rules, to allow, others to operate in their territory Training & Maintenance of Units, Audit Weigh Bridges (REVOCA), Upgrade Facilities, Harmonies EAC, SADC/COMESA Third Country Rule & Cabotage

9 Transfering Funds, Too Strict, Not Allowed to Have Foreign Exchange, Cannot Pay regionally, RSA ONLY allows INWARD transfers Foreign Exchange Controls SADC free trade area inter banks, Electronic Banking, Revenue Authorities linked, Prevent Offshore Investments, One SADC Currency

10 Financial Deals between SADC Member States should not be restricted All Countries are to become Harmonized & Liberalized Accepted forms of Communication Access to Certain Markets more challenging than others Protection of Investments in Foregin Countries Language Barriers Rules and Regulations, Laws, Political Enviroment & Stability Reserve Bank or Financial Institutions Restrictions Political interferance should not jeopardize business growth

11 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY! It takes but ONE great Leader to Make others take action! Every one is a Leader, you just don’t see it. How about each and every one of use looking inside themselves, to make that decisions and be THAT LEADER to your fellow man. Africa is the Greatest Continent
