7 7 Perfect Competition – A Myth “PERFECT COMPETITION” is an ideal situation which exists only on paper. It implies: A large number of Sellers A large number of Buyers Free entry Free exit Manufacturers are “price-takers” and not “price-makers” No single manufacturer can influence the market
