16. 1.Branches must have Affiliate agreements with AAUW. 1.Funds raised using the name of AAUW must go to support its programs, activities, and services. 2.Before raising funds, you must decide how you intend to use them and advise donors in the solicitation. 3.Fundraising for other organizations at meetings/events or in publications is not allowed. 4.AAUW Action Fund donations are not tax deductible. 17. 6.Checks to AAUW Funds or to branches who are a 501C3 are tax deductible. 7.If a gift is deposited into a non-501C3 branch and a branch writes a check to AAUW national, then the branch must advise AAUW national of the identity of the donors and the value of any goods or services that the donors may have received for the gift to be tax deductible.
