3 IDP Applications – 99 received on e-RT – 85 eligible for CERN according to Marie Curie conditions – 17.3% female  – «lost» applications mainly due to EC Mobility Rule Applicants could express a preference for up to 3 posts – only 20% did… Where they came from…

6 IDP Employment contract 10 Early Stage Researchers Recruitment by CERN under full-time Fellow employment contract 36 months each Must start their contracts by 1.9.2014 at the latest to maximize EC budget contribution Contracts – offers as of next week? – start contracts from 1 January 2014

7 IDP And once we have selected… Information to the recruited researcher Arrival – welcome – induction – integration The Career Development Plan – identify research aims & training needs – give researcher responsibility for € planning Regular contacts – review progress – log book And then the really interesting things start…
