Create your account. You only have to enter:
First name
Last name
State
address
Desired username (Make a note of it.)
Password (Make a note of it.)

6. Searching by Keyword
Search by keyword and then narrow your results based on Subject, Grade or Media Type.

Choose the specific standards you wish to search….

Download the video by clicking on the filmstrip icon.

Gwinnett County teachers are not allowed to stream live video over the network.
You must download the video FIRST – even before you preview!
Downloading must occur before 9:00 AM or after 2:00 PM.
Streaming Live is Risky
Downloading Minimizes Technical Difficulties
GCPS Acceptable Use Policy address the problem with streaming live video. Our network cannot handle all of the traffic this would cause. Plan ahead and download any videos you wish to show. This will minimize technical difficulties during your lesson and ensure you are adhering to GCPS Policy.

11. Don’t Have Time to Download?
Select the videos/segments you wish to save.
Click on the “add to My Content” button.
Create a new folder or add to an existing one.
Copy or share them as
you have time!

12. Citations
Click on the Citations tab above the segments and select the appropriate reference.

13. How Do I Show The Video?
Show it using your computer and either your television or LCD Projector.
Hyperlink or embed it in PowerPoint.
Hyperlink allows you to see the Windows Media Player controls.
Does not automatically play full screen
Can be adjusted to play full screen
Embedding allows you to play full screen automatically.
Does not let you see Media Player Controls
Can add text boxes
Video and PowerPoint must be saved in the same file.

14. Hyperlink Open a new slide. Type the title of the video.
Highlight the title.
Go to Insert and choose Hyperlink.
Click on Link to:
Existing file or web page
Navigate to where you saved the downloaded clip.
Double click on the video, then click OK to close.

15. Embedding the Video Click on Insert. Choose Movies and Sound.
Choose Movie from file.
Navigate to where you saved the downloaded clip.
Click OK.
Decide whether or not you want the video to start automatically or when clicked.
