4 Problem setting The White Paper emphasizes the need to “transform the market towards more energy-efficient vehicles” Reduction of GHG emissions and fossil fuel consumption Shift towards low-carbon transport New and more sustainable mobility culture Strong engagement of transport agents and Society Design and demonstration of viable e-mobility business schemes is fundamental to attract new transport operators into the market

Reduce noise and pollution in urban areas Create new market opportunities for local economy by transformation urban delivery transport in favour of E- bikes Development of business plans that will increase the competitiveness of stakeholders using E- bikes Proving of positive environmental, economic and social impacts of E- bike technology on whole society

Less space needed (parking), Faster than other transport modes (in urban areas), Larger space, Larger range Cost reduction Cheaper in purchase and use, Cheaper in insurance and road taxes, No driving license needed Customization Bike used for ads Status Green image of the company, Good for health, Good for the environment Accessibility Materials & equipment can be transported in areas inaccessible by van/car.
