15 GREATER LAFAYETTE COMMERCE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE 15  In 2006, a number of autonomous, local community-based, economic development organizations came together to form Greater Lafayette Commerce (GLC). GLC is built on five council pillars:  Economic Development Council  Downtown Development Council  Capital Resource Council  Chamber of Commerce Council  Workforce Development Council

16 MARKET MANAGEMENT CONTRACT BETWEEN PURDUE AND GLC 16  GLC manages the market for Purdue and provides the following:  Screens and contracts directly with vendors  Hires Market Master  Handles community advertising

AASHE STARS Public Engagement Tier Two Credit 12  Criteria: Institution hosts a farmers’ market for the community  0.25 points  Applicability: This credit applies to all institutions located in areas that are not otherwise served by an existing farmers market.
