3 Polito Tasks summary Quantitative validation and demonstration of benefits of data exploitation in the performance of high-precision positioning for the selected application Mitigation of GNSS signal interference for TEC evaluation Quantitative validation: we will evaluate the impact of interferences on TEC computation comparing TEC derived from raw data acquired by the software receiver raw data from the software receiver with the superimposition of artificial interferences raw data from the software receiver with the superimposition of artificial interferences processed by means of mitigation technique.  Demonstration of benefits: TEC data before and after the application of the interference mitigation technique will be used to evaluate the contribution to the positioning error. (Assessment of benefits of the interference mitigation technique on high precision positioning) MImOSA 2 proposes new activities with respect to other existing projects in which we are involved. Deployment of the software receiver (designed by POLITO) and testing of its performance in the Sao Paulo State.

4 raw data from the software receiver with the superimposition of artificial interferences (@Polito) Data at L1 band is being replayed at Polito with the addition of interference signals. +

7 raw data from the software receiver with the superimposition of artificial interferences processed by means of mitigation technique. -> To be evaluated in the coming days!  Demonstration of benefits: TEC data before and after the application of the interference mitigation technique will be used to evaluate the contribution to the positioning error. (Assessment of benefits of the interference mitigation technique on high precision positioning) a.Limitation arising from the data demodulation of L2C signal (still in experimental phase). b.L2C was in any case the only other possible signal to be acquired, besides L1C/A, due to data throughput constraints in the front-end hardware. c.Live test are being performed in the lab to overcome the issues by evaluating the outputs of other receivers in the same band. ( No ephemeris data detected yet). d.Proper decoding of the new type of navigation message of L2C is being developed at the moment. Deployment of the software receiver (designed by POLITO) and testing of its performance in the Sao Paulo State. Real time fully software receiver of NavSaS is being validated with the raw samples collected at UNESP!!
