4 Altering the variables We can change the x- and y-axis variable by clicking on the arrow of the respective axis. Your first graph should compare the

5 Your first graph Adjust the variables so that you have: An x-axis of Agricultural workers (% of labour force) Against A y-axis of Childen per woman (total fertility) Point at the various circles to see which country it is. What are the colours indicating?

6 We can use the timeline by pressing play which shows how things have changed through the years. It is more useful to follow a country over the years to see how things have changed. Using the graph you started on the previous slide: 1.Choose Yemen 2.Run the timeline 3.What does this show? Choosing a country and the timeline

7 Questions for you to answer using Gapfinder 1.Choose two of the countries you have visited this year in Geography. Open Word and explain WHY these two countries where chosen. 2.Choose two variables and see what the graph shows (eg. GNI, Literacy, Life expectancy) 3.Do a screen shot of the results 4.Write a little report on what this shows.
