7 Homework Typically you will not have homework in Social Studies, HOWEVER:  Work that is not completed in class will become homework & turned in the next day.  Additional research for projects may need to be conducted at home.  Studying for all quizzes and tests will ALWAYS be on the agenda as homework.  Review material daily

8 Grading Policy  Grading Scale: A- 100-90%B- 89-80% C- 79-70% D- 69-60% F- 59%-50% Assessments: 90%Practice: 10% Some assessments and assignments will be graded using a 4-point scale. 4- Exceeds expectations. Extends beyond what was taught 3.5 3- Successfully understood major & minor concepts that were taught 2.5 2- Needs refinement, with support – can understand major & minor concepts 1.5 1- Needs improvement, difficulty understanding what was taught. Even with help, could only gain a partial or weak understanding of concepts
