Greek and Roman gods were referred to as “Immortals” – a reference to the fact that they lived forever.
Immortals could be deceived or defeated even by mortals.
Immortals were open to the same vices as humans – greed, lust, hatred, love, joy and sadness.
Immortals in Greek and Roman culture were the same ones just with different names.
