24 NDOC Staff The Nevada Department of Corrections employs 2,962 staff. – 1,908 Uniformed – 1,054 Non-Uniformed

25 Uniform Staff Certification Law Enforcement agencies in Nevada are governed by the Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) commission. The NDOC training academies are P.O.S.T. approved and all uniformed staff graduating from our academies are Sworn Category III Peace Officers.
